Project 25 Verdi

The 25VERDE  is a special building located in between Via Gabriele Chiabrera, via Correggio and via carlo Marenco.



Its terraces accommodate 150 tall trees, in addition to the 40 hosted in the courtyard garden, the facades are protected by a ventilated wall made ​​with larch shingles natural split and strips of wood that pave the large terraces filter the rays of the sun in summer, while in winter allow light to pass through the large windows of the appartments.





The trees follow the natural cycle of the seasons, growing day by day, protect from noise, create an ideal microclimate inside the building and mitigate the fluctuations of temperature in summer and winter. They produce oxygen, break down fine dusts and interwoven with the
"organic" metallic structures that hold the wooden decks and terraces convey recovered rainwater for irrigation, provide life to this unique building.

I think it's wonderful and a refreshing change from the need to build skyscrapers, more cities should be going green!!
